Transphobic Trebas Hateful Twitter Rant Reported by NBC
Earlier this week, Senator Jeremy Trebas went on an unhinged Twitter rant, using slurs and intentionally misgendering Representative Zooey Zephyr. Trebas is known for his extremely bizarre views, ranginging from his claims that the polio vaccine wasn’t necessary to his argument that hunters shouldn’t have to wear blaze orange.
Now, amidst international spotlight on Montana’s Legislative session, Trebas is doubling down on his extreme anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric. Trebas’ actions seem especially dubious given the Montana GOP’s censuring of Representative Zephyr under the guise of maintaining “decorum.”

State Investigator Finds Discrimination Against Fontana Moore
An investigator with the Montana Human Rights Bureau issued a report finding that the Secretary of State’s office discriminated against Rina Fontana Moore when it emailed the Cascade County Commission urging them not to hire her for a position running the election office.

Petition To Repeal Election Office Change Flops
In response, these folks organized a petition drive to place the issue on the ballot and give people the opportunity to express their opinion supporting their point of view. But, alas, they failed. Not only did the imagined vast majority of supporters not get to vote, signature gatherers couldn’t even get the required 15% of eligible voters to sign the petition to place the measure on the ballot.
